Niedernsill offers beginners’ slopes and a local ski school.  For the more experienced skier, a free ski bus takes you to Kaprun (Kitzsteinhorn glacier) and the Schmittenhohe at Zell am See.

Kitzbuhel and the Wildkogel ski areas are both approximately 30 minutes drive away whilst Saalbach-Hinterglemm is approximately 35 minutes away.

Just 5 minutes walk away from Haus Anna-Louise is a swimming lake along with tennis courts, beach volleyball and mini golf.  Beautiful mountain walks are also close by.

In Zell am See there is boat hire, lake cruises and pedeloe hire.

Places to visit nearby include the Eagle’s Nest, the Ice Caves at Werfen, the beautiful and historic city of Salzburg, Krimml waterfalls, and a walk around the dam at the Sigmund Thun Klamm.
